Perceiving Actions!

This study tests your ability to perceive continuous frames of actions.

You will watch a series of animations showing different actions.

For each action, you will also watch a sequence of images and judge whether the last two images are same or different.

Click Next to continue.

On each trial, you will be asked to press SpaceBar to see a sequence of images.

Your job is to see whether the last image ever changes from its previous image.

In other words, you need to judge whether the last two frames are same or different.

You need to press S when the last two frames are same.

You need to press D when the last two frames are different.

The container's border will turn to green if your response is correct, red if incorrect.

To start off, you'll do a couple of practice trials.

Click "Start Practice" to begin.

You have done the practice! In the real experiment, the change of the last frame from its previous one could be very small.

You need to pay close attention to those images! The task is not easy, but please try your best!

(The study will take about 15-20 minutes. When the experiment is done, you will be redirected back to Prolific's webpage where you will be given a completion code.)
